Was ist der Performer-Stammtisch?

Performer-Stammtisch präsentiert künstlerische Positionen und Live-Performances der internationalen Live-Art und Performance-Art-Szene. Neben den Präsentationen ist Performer-Stammtisch Netzwerk und Forum für Künstler, Theoretiker, Kuratoren und Interessierte mit Fokus auf Performance-Art und Live-Art. Ziel von Performer-Stammtisch ist es, eine Forum für professionellen, internationalen Austausch über künstlerische Inhalte und Stategien herzustellen. Zusätzlich versteht sich Performer-Stammtisch als Plattform, um den Austausch von Informationen zu vereinfachen und zu bündeln, die die organisatorischen, finanziellen und produktionstechnischen Seiten künstlerischer Arbeit in Performancekunst und Live-Art betreffen.

Seit seiner Gründung 2005 hat sich Performer-Stammtisch zum regelmäßigen Treffpunkt für Berliner und internationale Künstler entwickelt. Zu den monatlichen Treffen in Berlin (am zweiten Montag in jedem Monat) kommen regelmäßig fünzehn bis fünzig Künstler und professionell interessierte Gäste.

Wie funktioniert das?

Der Blog des Performer Stammtischs ist eine interaktive Plattform. Das heißt, alle Interessierten sind ausdrücklich aufgefordert, sich daran zu beteiligen, ihn zu einer relevanten Ressource für Performancekunst in Berlin zu machen. Dazu gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten.

1. Jeder Nutzer kann zu allen dafür freigegebenen Beiträgen und Artikeln Kommentare hinterlassen. Dafür einfach die Kommentarzeile am Ende des Beitrags anklicken, ggf. bereits vorhandene Beiträge lesen und anschließend in dem Feld unten auf der Seite den eigenen Kommentar abgeben. Diese Methode eignet sich, wie der Name sagt, am besten für Egänzungen, Meinungen und Gegenrede zu bereits Bestehendem.

2. Selber Artikel verfassen. Dafür brauchst du einen Usernamen, den du erhältst, wenn du ihn per Mail beim admin emailadresse12px.jpganforderst. Dann logst du dich über die unauffällige Schaltfläche oben rechts im Seitenkopf ein, klickst auf “Write” und füllst das sodann erscheinende Template aus. Alles ist selbsterklärend, wenn auch auf dem Mac unter System 9 nicht alle Links einwandfrei funktionieren, ggf. html-tags für Links etc. von Hand einfügen. Ein Test mit System X steht noch aus. Der neue Artikel erscheint nach dem Speichern als erster auf der Startseite - so lange, bis wieder jemand einen verfasst.

Arbeitssprachen im Stammtisch Blog sind deutsch und englisch.

Wo ist der Performer Stammtisch?

Der Performer Stammtisch hat und wird ganz verschiedenen Orten stattfinden. Die Location des Nächsten Stammtischs wird (meistens rechtzeitig) Im Newsletter oder auf der Webseite angekündigt.

 


What is Performer Stammtisch?

Performer Stammtisch shows artistic practices and live performances from the international Live Art and performance art scene. Besides the live events, Performer Stammtisch is a network of artists, critics, scholars, curators and an interested public. The aim is to establish a place dedicated to performance art and Live Art in Berlin. Performer Stammtisch is a forum for the professional international exchange of artistic practices and strategies. Additionally, Performer Stammtisch aims to be a platform to facilitate the exchange of information regarding the organizational, financial and administrative side of professional artistic work in the fields of
performance art and Live Art.

Between fifteen and fifty artists and professionally interested guests come to the monthly meetings in Berlin (every second Monday of each month). Since its beginning in 2005, Performer Stammtisch has become a regular meeting point for Berlin based and international artists from a variety of artistic practices.

How does it work?

The Performer Stammtisch Blog is an interactive platform. This means that everyone interested is asked to contribute to it to make it a relevant ressource for performance art in Berlin. There are to ways to do this:

1. Each user can comment on any post or article that allows comments. Just click the comment-line at the end of each article, read other comments (if any are there) and then add your own two cents in the template at the end of the page. This method is best used for additions, opinions and oppostion to what is already there.

2. Write your own posts. To do this you need a username that you will receive if you mail admin emailadresse12px.jpgand ask for it. Use it to log in via the login button in the header. Click “Write” and fill in the template. Everything is pretty much self-explanatory, although unfortunately not all links work correctly with Mac under System 9. You might have to copy and paste in the html-tags by hand. System X I yet have to test. Your new article will appear on the front page as soon as you save it - until somebody else writes another one.

Working languages of the Stammtisch Blog are German and English. Try to post your stuff in both languages, so everybody can participate.

The Performer Stammtisch has taken and can take place in a range of venues. Location of Next Stammtisch will be announced in the newsletter and on the website.
